It's The Little Things

Little things are important. How many times have you received a little note of appreciation from someone that meant a lot to you? I often find myself thinking about someone and then doing nothing about it.

Derek often talks about when you are thinking of someone you should do one of two things; pray for them, call them or both. It doesn't take a long time to give someone a quick call to tell them you were thinking about them. Or when you are out and you see something that reminds you of a friend buy it for them.

It may seem like a small gesture, but it means a lot to know that someone was thinking about you. Hebrews 10:24 says, Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. Look for ways to encourage other people, even if it seems small.

I couldn't agree with you more. It's these tiny things that mean so much to me, and so often I overlook them when it comes time for others. I will be renewing this practice in my life.

* so next time you see one you will think of me and buy it for me... it really is the small things that count. ;)

Yes... it's the little things like quoting the pastor that mean the most!

I love you, Sweet.

I'm visiting from your husband's blog via Kevin Bussey's blog. :)

Thank you for the reminder to do the little things. So often I think of someone and think in grand scales. Like a long letter. But it never happens as life gets so busy and time is limited. But really only that is often needed is a simple note. Just a little something.

I'm going to make it a point this week to do a small thing for someone. :)
